1. General Information

Harmony Farm provides equine therapy, animal-assisted activities, and wellbeing sessions for young people and individuals with Special Educational Needs (SEN).

Participation is subject to these Terms & Conditions, which are designed to ensure safety, safeguarding, and clarity of responsibility.

2. Eligibility

All participants must be booked in advance.

Children and young people under 18 must have consent from a parent/carer/guardian.

SEN participants requiring additional support must be accompanied by a responsible adult if advised.

3. Health & Safety
​

Harmony Farm takes all reasonable precautions to ensure safety. However, working with animals and outdoor environments carries inherent risks.

Participants must follow staff instructions at all times.

Protective equipment (e.g., helmets, boots) must be worn as directed.

We must be informed in advance of any medical conditions, allergies, or behavioural needs that could affect participation.

4. Safeguarding & Behaviour

The farm operates a safeguarding policy to protect children, young people, and vulnerable adults.

Respectful behaviour towards staff, animals, and other visitors is expected at all times. Aggressive, unsafe, or disruptive behaviour may result in immediate removal from the session without refund.

5. Animals & Welfare

Interaction with animals will always be supervised.

Participants must not feed, touch, or enter enclosures without staff permission.

We reserve the right to restrict activities if animal welfare may be compromised.

6. Liability

Harmony Farm holds appropriate insurance for its activities.

We are not liable for personal injury, loss, or damage unless caused by proven negligence.

Personal belongings are the responsibility of participants and visitors.

7. Cancellations & Refunds
​

Bookings cancelled more than 7 days in advance will receive a full refund.

Cancellations within 7 days are non-refundable but may be rescheduled at our discretion.

In the event of bad weather or unforeseen circumstances, Harmony Farm may reschedule sessions or provide credit/refund.

8. Data Protection

Any personal information (including medical details) will be kept securely and only used for the purpose of providing safe participation in activities.

We comply with UK GDPR and data protection legislation.

9. Photography & Media
​
No photographs of participants will be taken or shared without prior written consent.

Visitors may take photos of their own children/young people, but must not include other participants without permission.

10. Agreement
​
By attending Harmony Farm, participants (and their parent/carer/guardian where applicable) agree to these Terms & Conditions.
